Top Five Most Expensive Minifigures

Hey everyone! We are continuing are series of Top Five Minifigures. This week we are focusing on minifigs valued over 200 USD. Some expensive figures are made out of gold/silver/other expensive materials. Others are prototypes. These figures will be passed over. We are focusing only on official plastic minifigures.

#5: Superman – Black Suit (2013 Comic Con Exclusive) – 1425.00 USD

With only 325 made, this rendition of Superman was one LEGO minifigure not based on comic books or movies. LEGO designed this version of Superman from scratch.

#4: Spiderwoman (San Diego Comic Con 2013 Exclusive) – 1805.00 USD

Surprisingly enough, up until rather recently, this was the only version of Spiderwoman. Only 325 of her were made.

#3: Spiderman (San Diego Comic Con 2013 Exclusive) – 1900 USD

This guy was a year after our #2 guys, at Comic Con. about 325 were produced, and given away to kids at random (not gonna’ get into that conspiracy theory).

#2: Captain America and Iron Man (Toyfair 2012 Exclusives) – 1947.50 USD

These were some of the first LEGO Marvel figures ever released. Only 200-275 were released. We know that only 200 were released at Toyfair, but 75 more may have been given to employees of the LEGO Group.

#1: George Lucas – 2613.45 USD

Not really expected, but yes. George Lucas’s minifigure is the #1 most expensive minifig. The quantity of these figures is unknown. Some assume it is under 50. You could always make a counterfeit seeing as how no prints are exclusive.
